Bighorn Steakhouse in Keystone, CO

If you are looking for an exceptional place to dine while visiting Keystone, Colorado there are several great options, but one that consistently delivers fine cuisine in a remarkable setting is Bighorn Steakhouse.  Located in The Keystone Lodge & Spa and adjacent to the Lakeside Village, Bighorn Steakhouse boasts a convenient location with great views of Keystone Lake and the towering mountains of the Continental Divide.  Delicious menu selections change often and typically feature a vegetable of the day.

Krystal and I visited Bighorn Steakhouse last week and had a very pleasurable experience.  We were sat at a windowside table with incredible views.  Entrees included fish, chicken, steak, scallops, vegetarian/vegan options, salads; they are typcially priced range from $31 - $40 on the Keystone Resort Website, but Krystal and I enjoyed the roasted chicken and pacific yellow tail for around $20 each.  The menu also features a wonderful array of appetizers and desserts and is accompanied by a fairly impressive wine list.  

Bighorn Steakhouse is open daily from 5:30 - 9:00pm during the summer and winter, seasonal closures may apply in the shoulder seasons.  Reservations are recommended, call 970.496.4386.  

Near the Keystone Lodge & Spa and not hungry enough for dinner?  On several occasions, Krystal and I have enjoyed a drink and appetizer at the Tenderfoot Lounge, which is adjacent to Bighorn Steakhouse.  The Tenderfoot Lounge has also featured live music this summer on Fridays and Saturdays after June 10th.
